Makenzy Beard is a 16 year old girl who lives on the Gower, South Wales with her family.

In the 2020 lockdown Makenzy began painting in her garden shed when she had nothing else to do.

Makenzy’s goal is to capture character and emotion through her work.

I play a lot of sport.

I like to travel.

I weirdly like my little leaking shed and wouldn’t want to switch it for anything else.

I love the sea.

I often paint in my pyjamas.

It takes me at least 3 hours to sort my laundry piles.

I’m a try hard who really loves school.”
